Alena

Alena arrives at her new elite boarding school, where she faces harassment from Filippa and other girls. However, with the help of her best friend Josefin (Rebecka Nyman), who won't let Alena take any more beating, Alena finds a way to defend herself. The film is based on the Swedish graphic novel by Kim W. Andersson and stars Amalia Holm as Alena, a character whose role is central to the story's exploration of homophobia and internalized violence.
