Crimson Tide

In post-Soviet Russia, a breakaway Russian republic with nuclear warheads becomes a possible worldwide threat, prompting U.S. submarine Capt. Frank Ramsey to sign on a relatively green but highly recommended Lt. Cmdr. Ron Hunter to the USS Alabama. As Ramsey insists that the Alabama must act aggressively, Hunter, fearing they will start a disaster, leads a potential mutiny to stop him. The two men clash as they navigate conflicting orders, personal differences, and the weight of their decisions, culminating in a tense and suspenseful standoff that will determine the fate of the crew, the ship, and the world.
