Of Unknown Origin

In this 1983 psychological horror film, a mild-mannered Manhattan banker becomes increasingly obsessive and destructive in his attempts to kill a rat loose in his renovated brownstone, sparking an interspecies duel that will push him to his limits. Based on the novel The Visitor by Chauncey G. Parker III, the film focuses on Bart Hughes' descent into chaos as he tries to reclaim control of his home from the seemingly unstoppable rodent.
