Dishonored

In 1915 Vienna, Austrian secret service Chief Gustav von Seyffertitz poses as a foreign agent to test loyalty in prostitute Marie Kolverer, a war widow and accomplished pianist. He enlists her as Agent X-27 after she quietly alerts a constable. As X-27, Marie attracts the attention of Colonel von Hindau, whom she ultimately exposes by infiltrating his headquarters and recovering a secret message hidden in a cigarette. Marie's success is short-lived, however, as Russian spy Colonel Kranau discovers her identity and captures her while she attempts to deliver crucial information to the Austrian forces. After escaping from captivity, X-27 returns with vital plans for an imminent military offensive, which leads to the capture of thousands of Russian troops, including Kranau. Marie's bravery ultimately leads to her own downfall as she is sentenced to death for treason after manipulating Colonel Kranau into thinking she was in love with him.
