The Rider

"The Rider" is a 2017 American contemporary western film written, produced and directed by Chloé Zhao. The film stars Brady Jandreau, Lilly Jandreau, Tim Jandreau, Lane Scott, and Cat Clifford as Lakota Sioux characters living on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. After suffering brain damage from a rodeo accident, young cowboy Brady undertakes a search for a new identity and what it means to be a man in the heartland of the United States.
