Dallas Buyers Club

Matthew McConaughey stars as Ron Woodroof, a cowboy diagnosed with AIDS in 1986, who is given thirty days to live after having unprotected sex with an IV drug user. Initially hostile and disrespectful, he begins to read up on the disease and realizes that his lifestyle has led him to this point. He partners with Rayon, a trans woman played by Jared Leto, to smuggle unapproved pharmaceutical drugs into Texas to treat his symptoms, establishing the "Dallas Buyers Club" in the process.
