Furious

In 13th-century Russia, a legendary warrior named Evpaty Kolovrat (Ilya Malakov) defends his land against an army of thousands as they invade the last Russian principality standing in their way, led by the grandson of Genghis Khan, Batu Khan. A mysterious and fearless strong man, Evpaty gathers a detachment to delay the Mongol army and hopes that neighboring Russian princes will send support, but ultimately dies in a last stand, mortally wounded. Despite his death, Evpaty's actions are celebrated by the Mongols, who order a hero's burial for him.
