D-Day the Sixth of June

The film follows Captain Brad Parker (Robert Taylor) and Lieutenant Colonel John Wynter (Richard Todd), both officers in the European Theatre of Operations, as they reminisce about their romance with Valerie Russell (Dana Wynter). In a few hours before D-Day, they are part of an American-British-Canadian commando unit that embarks to destroy a German coastal gun emplacement.
