Knight Moves

A chess grandmaster, Peter Sanderson (Christopher Lambert), becomes a suspect in his lover's gruesome murder and collaborates with police and psychologist Kathy Sheppard to catch the killer, who leaves clues and hints through a series of murders inspired by their previous match in 1972. The investigation raises doubts about Peter's innocence as more bodies pile up.
