The Sacrifice

Alexander, a middle-aged intellectual, attempts to bargain with God to stop an impending nuclear holocaust. He lives a life of comfortable disillusionment, surrounded by his loved ones and his own existential doubts. When news breaks that nuclear war has begun, he sets out on a desperate and enigmatic journey, willing to sacrifice everything he holds dear in the hope of undoing the catastrophe unfolding before him.
