Shaadi Ke Side Effects

Sidharth "Sid" Roy (Farhan Akhtar) is a happily married man who ensures that the spark in his marriage stays strong by always apologizing and opting for the path of least conflict in his relationship. When his wife Trisha (Vidya Balan) becomes pregnant, he does not offer resistance, but is also not ready to be a father. Sid's friends' advice leads him to try various methods to prepare himself for parenthood, including reading pregnancy books and following Trisha's daily routine by wearing a balloon in his shirt. However, when Trisha starts devoting all her time to their new baby girl, Sid realizes he needs to step up as a father. He seeks help from his friend Manav (Vir Das), who suggests taking a break to enjoy his life as a bachelor. Despite an initial success, Sid soon finds himself struggling with the responsibilities of parenthood. Through various misadventures and realizations, Sid learns to appreciate the value of family and eventually forgives Trisha for her infidelity. In the end, Sid and Trisha reunite and start living a happy family life along with their baby.
