Burn!

In this powerful historical drama, Marlon Brando plays Sir William Walker, a ruthless British agent provocateur sent to ignite a slave revolt on the Caribbean island of Queimada in order to serve the interests of the sugar trade. Years later, he is tasked with suppressing the rebellion and pacifying the island, leading to a violent confrontation with the charismatic leader José Dolores, played by Evaristo Márquez, who refuses to surrender his arms in exchange for freedom. As Walker's mission unfolds, the film becomes a scathing critique of colonialism and the exploitation of Third World peoples, with Brando delivering one of his most compelling performances as a complex and conflicted character.
