Dawn of the Dead

During an ever-growing epidemic of zombies that have risen from the dead, two Philadelphia SWAT team members, a traffic reporter, and his television-executive girlfriend seek refuge in a secluded suburban shopping mall as chaos erupts around them, threatening to destroy what's left of society. With the reanimated dead roaming freely outside, the group barricades themselves inside, seeking safety amidst a sea of consumerist excess that has become their only hope for survival. As they navigate this bizarre and deadly world, they must confront the dark underbelly of human nature and the true meaning of survival in a post-apocalyptic world.
