A special-ops team is dispatched to fight supernatural beings that have taken over a European city, as invisible entities slaughter any living being caught in their path. The story follows DARPA engineer Mark Clyne, who must investigate and combat these entities with his latest invention - hyperspectral imaging goggles. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the entities are made of Bose-Einstein condensate, capable of killing humans instantly.
