Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy

Bud Abbott as Peter Patterson and Lou Costello as Freddie Franklin are stranded American archaeologists who become embroiled in a plot to resurrect the mummy of Klaris, guardian of Princess Ara's treasure-filled tomb. They attempt to sell a cursed medallion that supposedly records the location of the treasure, but it leads them into the clutches of an Egyptian cult leader and his goons. As they try to escape, Lou eats the medallion and becomes a target for those seeking the treasure, including a mysterious femme fatale and the mummy itself. In the end, Abbott and Costello outwit their pursuers and convince the cult leader to preserve the legend of Klaris by turning the temple into a nightclub.
