Heaven Can Wait

Henry Van Cleve, a spoiled playboy from late 19th-century New York, dies and arrives at the entrance to Hell, convinced he deserves the final destination. However, the devil isn't so sure, and Henry recounts his life's deeds - both good and bad - in an attempt to prove his worthiness or unworthiness of Heaven. Born into a wealthy family, Henry's life is one of indulgence and excess, marked by scandals, elopements, and questionable morals, but also a deep love for those around him.
