The Final Cut

Robin Williams stars as Alan W. Hakman, a professional memory cutter who specializes in editing the memories of unsavory people into flattering life stories that are played at funerals. When Fletcher offers him $500,000 for the memories of his latest client, wealthy businessman Charles Bannister, Hakman refuses and is threatened with danger. As he works through Bannister's memories, Hakman discovers a dark secret about Bannister's past and must navigate the consequences of his own actions as a cutter.
