Terrifier is a gory and sadistic horror film that showcases a maniacal clown named Art as he terrorizes three young women on Halloween night. The movie's practical effects are top-notch, making graphic murders that are effective enough to make it clear this film means business. David Howard Thornton stars as the silent villain, delivering a devilishly effective portrayal of a character who must use facial gestures to express himself in his grotesque clown makeup.
