Death Race

In 2020, Jensen Ames (Jason Statham) is coerced into participating in a deadly racing competition at Terminal Island Penitentiary, where inmates compete in high-tech cars for their freedom. Framed for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment, Jensen accepts the offer from Warden Hennessey (Joan Allen), who sees the event as an opportunity to boost ratings and profits. With the help of his new pit crew, including Coach (Ian McShane) and Machine Gun Joe Mason (Tyrese Gibson), Jensen must navigate treacherous tracks and rival drivers while uncovering the truth behind Hennessey's motives and escaping his life-or-death predicament.
