A Star Is Born

Esther Blodgett (Judy Garland) is an aspiring singer who finds fame after meeting Norman Maine (James Mason), a fading movie star. As Esther's career takes off, Norman becomes increasingly dependent on her financial support and his own alcoholism worsens. Despite her growing success, Vicki Lester (Esther Blodgett) ultimately sacrifices everything to care for her troubled husband, leading to a tragic conclusion.
