Defiance

During World War II, four Jewish brothers, desperate for protection and a way to fight back against their Nazi-occupied homeland, join the Soviet partisans in a bid to survive and rescue thousands of Jews trapped in Polish ghettos. Led by Tuvia Bielski, Zus, Asael, and Aron, the Bielski brothers face unimaginable challenges as they navigate the treacherous landscape of war-torn Belarus, where collaboration with Russian underground groups and local crime lords becomes a means to an end, rather than a heroic act.
