Nancy Freeman (Andrea Riseborough), a lonely woman, finds solace in writing about her non-existent child on a blog. When she meets Jeb (John Leguizamo), a grieving father, and Ellen (J. Smith-Cameron) and Leo (Steve Buscemi), a couple searching for their missing daughter thirty years ago, Nancy becomes increasingly convinced that she's the long-lost child, despite doubts raised by Ellen and skepticism from Leo.
