What's for Dinner, Mom?

Two sisters, Tae and Yo Hitoto, return to their childhood home in Japan that is soon to be demolished. While clearing out the family's belongings, Tae discovers a red box containing recipes and letters written by her late mother, Kazueda Hitoto, who struggled with relocation from Japan to Taiwan after the death of her Taiwanese husband and battle with cancer. Tae decides to travel to Taiwan to learn more about her mother's past and the dishes she made for their family.
