Ashley Judd stars as Helen Leonard, a college professor struggling with severe depression, alongside Goran Višnjić as her husband David, and Lauren Lee Smith as new friend Matilda who helps her during treatment. The film follows Helen's journey as she overcomes her mental illness with the support of those around her, led by Dr. Alberta Watson.
