Takumi Fujiwara, a high school student who has been delivering tofu to resorts in Mount Akina, unknowingly perfects drift racing skills behind the wheel of his father's Toyota AE86. As he gains recognition from street racers, Takumi must navigate rivalries, relationships, and self-discovery on the mountain passes and streets of Akina, where he becomes embroiled in a world of high-stakes drifting.
