Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White takes refuge in the forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother, the wicked Queen. The Queen is jealous because she wants to be known as "the fairest in the land," and Snow White's beauty surpasses her own. Snow White is befriended by woodland animals who lead her to the cottage of Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. There, Snow White assumes they are orphaned children and cleans and cooks for them. The dwarfs agree to let her stay for protection after she introduces herself and explains her predicament. Back at the castle, the Queen uses a potion-disguise to trick Snow White into biting into an apple that puts her into a death-like slumber. The dwarfs find Snow White asleep from the poison and keep watch over her.
