In the gritty drama "Sollers Point," a young man, Keith (McCaul Lombardi), reenters his Baltimore community after being released from prison, only to struggle with finding a way out of his internal prison amidst unemployment, neglect, and deeply entrenched segregation. As he navigates this treacherous terrain, Keith's intentions are in the right place, but his old habits threaten to resurface. With a talented cast, including Jim Belushi, Zazie Beetz, and Marin Ireland, Matthew Porterfield's film plumbs the darkest aspects of modern American life with unflinching intimacy and nuance.
