Private Life

Private Life is a 2018 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Tamara Jenkins. The film follows Richard (Paul Giamatti) and Rachel (Kathryn Hahn), a middle-aged couple in New York City who are desperately trying to have a child through various means, including in vitro fertilization. After multiple failed attempts, they consider using a donor egg from their 25-year-old niece Sadie (Kayli Carter), leading to a journey of fertility treatments and emotional ups and downs.
