Two high school dropouts, Angela and Jessie, embark on a series of misadventures as they try to get away for a vacation to Galveston, Texas, after their roommate loses all of their money in a drug scam. The girls' wild streak takes them from juvenile detention to a series of daring heists, with plenty of humor and heart along the way. Written, directed, and edited by Augustine Frizzell, "Never Goin' Back" is a raunchy and irreverent comedy that explores themes of poverty, friendship, and female empowerment.
