Sorry to Bother You

In an alternate present-day Oakland, Cassius Green (LaKeith Stanfield) discovers a magical key to professional success – which propels him into a macabre universe. He adopts a "white voice" to succeed at his job as a telemarketer for RegalView, and is swept into a corporate conspiracy. After participating in a protest, he is promoted to an elite position within the company, where he learns that RegalView secretly sells military arms and exploits employees as slave labor. Cash's newfound success comes with a cost, as he is forced to choose between his job and his relationship with his activist girlfriend Detroit (Tessa Thompson), who quits her job to avoid conflicting loyalties.
