Aguirre, the Wrath of God

In 1561, a Spanish conquistador named Lope de Aguirre leads a group of men down the Amazon River in search of gold and conquest, driven by madness and a lust for riches. As they journey deeper into the unforgiving jungle, Aguirre's grip on reality begins to slip, and his men are forced to confront the true horror of their quest.
