Bringing Down the House

A workaholic lawyer, Peter Sanderson, is looking to dive back into dating after his divorce, but online dating isn't exactly working out for him. That is, until he meets Charlene Morton, a woman he's chatting with online who just happens to be an escaped African-American convict with a score to settle - she was wrongly convicted of armed robbery and is determined to prove her innocence. As Peter tries to help Charlene clear her name, she wreaks havoc on his middle-class life, forcing him to confront his own flaws and learn to lighten up in the process.
