Vexille

In a post-ban Japan, robotic technology has become extremely advanced, leading to a global backlash that results in the United Nations declaring a unilateral ban on further research in 2067. The country of Japan secedes from the world, withdrawing from international politics and deporting all foreigners, and builds an energy field around itself to prevent communication with the outside world. Ten years later, agent Vexille (Meisa Kuroki) is sent by SWORD, a US Navy special warfare unit, to infiltrate Japan and determine if they are developing banned robotic bio-technology.
