Reykjavik-Rotterdam

Reykjavík-Rotterdam follows Kristófer (Baltasar Kormákur), a former sailor struggling to keep his family afloat after being fired from his job on a freight ship for smuggling alcohol. He takes one last tour of cargo between Reykjavik and Rotterdam in hopes of paying off his debts, but unexpected events occur when his brother-in-law steals the intended money and forces Kristófer into a violent art theft. Meanwhile, Kristófer's wife Iris (Lilja Nótt Þórarinsdóttir) is threatened by gangsters while staying with Steingrímur (Ingvar E. Sigurðsson), a friend who tries to seduce her.
