A Happening of Monumental Proportions

In this offbeat comedy-drama, Daniel (Common) is having a bad day that takes a series of misfortunes to new heights. As he gears up for Career Day at his daughter's elementary school, his affair with his married assistant is revealed, leading to job loss. Meanwhile, Darius (Bradley Whitford), the boss's son, finds himself smitten with Patricia, Daniel's daughter (Storm Reid), and struggles to win her heart. The film builds towards a chaotic Career Day activity that puts everything on display.
