Michelle Pfeiffer plays Rosie, a 45-year-old divorced mother working as a writer and producer for the TV sitcom You Go Girl, while Paul Rudd stars as Adam, a charismatic young man who becomes her love interest. As they navigate their relationship, Rosie's insecurities about aging are exacerbated by her internal monologues with an imagined Mother Nature figure, while her daughter Izzie (Saoirse Ronan) falls in love for the first time.
