In this family comedy film, a college student must make it from his campus in Los Angeles to his family's home in New York before Christmas dinner to win back his father's promise of a classic Porsche. After being left stranded in the desert with a Santa suit, Jake stumbles upon a series of unlikely allies and misadventures that lead him on a cross-country journey to reconcile with his estranged father and discover the true meaning of home. With a predictable yet satisfying happy ending, this holiday film balances action, comedy, and heartwarming moments of self-discovery.
