As It Is in Heaven

As It Is in Heaven is a musical romantic tragedy about Daniel Daréus (Michael Nyqvist), a renowned international conductor who moves back to his small hometown in rural Sweden after suffering a heart attack on stage. He begins teaching the local church choir, which eventually becomes a source of joy and love for him and Lena (Frida Hallgren). As Daniel navigates his new life and falls in love with Lena, he must confront the personal problems and secrets of the villagers, including abuse and bullying, ultimately leading to a triumphant moment that fulfills his life's goal.
