The Dream Is Alive takes you into space alongside astronauts on the space shuttle, sharing delights of zero gravity while working, eating, and sleeping in orbit around the Earth. The film features scenes from numerous shuttle missions, including STS-41-C's deployment of the Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF) satellite and its first spacewalk by an American woman, Sally Ride.
