In this 2009 American independent black comedy-drama film, psychiatrist Dr. Henry Carter's life unravels as he struggles to cope with a recent personal tragedy. As his own problems worsen, Carter turns to marijuana and becomes increasingly detached from his appearance and sense of purpose, yet continues to offer compassionate therapy to his Hollywood clients. Through the complex web of his patients' lives, including an actor struggling with addiction and a troubled high school student coming to terms with her mother's suicide, Carter's own facade begins to crumble, revealing a man on the brink of collapse.
