Autumn Sonata

Ingrid Bergman plays Charlotte Andergast, a world-renowned classical pianist who reunites with her estranged daughter Eva (Liv Ullmann) after seven years of separation. The reunion is emotionally charged as they reopen old wounds and confront their troubled past. Lena Nyman's character Helena, Eva's mentally impaired sister, also plays a pivotal role in the reunion, leading to an intense confrontation between Charlotte and Eva about their relationship and personal sacrifices.
