Drift

In 1972, two young brothers, Andy and Jimmy Kelly, live with their mother Kat in a run-down house by the beach in Albany, Western Australia. The brothers' volatile alliance is formed to escape their lack of prospects, and they start a business called Drift, making custom surfboards and wetsuits. As the business gains popularity among local surfers, tensions arise with conservative society, police, and a ruthless biker gang led by Miller. Against this backdrop, surfing prodigy Jimmy wins a local surf title, but his life takes a dramatic turn when he catches a huge wave at a competition, securing his place in the world pro surf tour.
