Age of Consent

In 1969, James Mason stars as Bradley Morahan, an Australian artist feeling jaded by success and life in New York City, who returns to Australia to regain his edge. There, he meets young Cora Ryan, played by Helen Mirren in her first major film role, on the exotic island of Dunk Island. With her help, Bradley's art is revitalized, but their relationship becomes complicated when Cora's difficult grandmother accuses Bradley of carrying on with her underage granddaughter, leading to a series of events that ultimately reveal Cora as more than just his muse.
