Fred Astaire and Jane Powell star as a brother-sister song-and-dance duo who take their hit Broadway show "Every Night at Seven" to London for the royal wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten. In the process, Tom falls in love with dancer Anne Ashmond, while his sister Ellen falls for impoverished but well-connected lord John Brindale.
