Ginger Rogers stars as Sherry Conley, a former model serving time in prison, in this 1955 film noir crime drama directed by Phil Karlson, alongside Edward G. Robinson and Brian Keith. After being offered a deal for her freedom to testify against notorious gangster Benjamin Costain (Lorne Greene), Conley is placed under protective watch in a posh hotel, where she forms a close relationship with Lt.
