Kid & Play return in the sequel to their 1990 screen debut House Party as Kid (Christopher "Kid" Reid) takes the plunge and marries his girlfriend Veda (Angela Means), while his friend Play (Christopher Martin) tries his hand at managing a roughneck female rap act called Sex as a Weapon. Chaos ensues when the ladies fire Play and he must navigate a series of misadventures, including a disastrous bachelor party and a confrontation with a ruthless promoter who's after Kid & Play's money. In the end, the friends manage to come together for one final performance that brings closure to their tumultuous journey.
