A young man, "Kid" (Marquard Bohm), wanders the desert with a metal suitcase full of money and a bullet wound after robbing a bank. He is found by Charles Dump (Mario Adorf), who steals his suitcase but ultimately spares him, taking him to his deserted mining compound where Jessy (Mascha Rabben) lives. Kid's partner, Anthony Sunshine (Anthony Dawson), arrives, leading to a tense standoff between the three men, with Dump trying to manipulate Sunshine and Kid seeking revenge against his double-crossing friend.
