In "Crawlspace," Lori Bancroft (Talia Balsam) moves into a small urban apartment building where she meets Karl Gunther (Klaus Kinski), the landlord and building superintendent who harbors a dark secret: he's a sadistic, self-loathing psychopath obsessed with trapping young women and torturing them to death. As Lori tries to uncover the truth about Gunther's sinister activities, she finds herself trapped in the apartment building, pursued by Gunther's deadly traps and ultimately forced to confront her own terror.
