Vietnam War veteran and Los Angeles resident Frank Vega has opened a community boxing center, where he trains young boxers like his star pupil Manny Parks, preparing him for his professional debut. When Manny's life is cut short in a violent encounter with a local drug cartel boss, Frank teams up with his grumpy old friend Bernie to track down the killers and bring justice to their community.
