Dare (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Roost (Hank Harris), brothers raised in a reformatory, moonlight as a detective and immerse themselves in John Wayne films respectively, as they hunt for Winky (Maurice Benard), a phantom criminal terrorizing West Los Angeles, while official Detective Robert Morrison (Anthony Gaudioso) closes in on them.
